Shell awards Maersk Supply Services for mooring line intervention for FPSO Fluminense

Shell Brasil has awarded Maersk Supply Service for yet another mooring line intervention at the FPSO Fluminense. The scope of the project includes remediation work on two of the Fluminense’s mooring lines. Offshore activities are expected to begin later this month with a three week duration. The 3 anchor handlers currently working for Petrobras in the Mero project awarded to Danish-origin company, Maersk Lancer, Launcher and Maker will be engaged in holding the FPSO on station and performing subsea operations. This will be the third time Maersk Supply will support Shell Brasil on the Fluminense’s mooring lines in an integrated services basis since 2019.
