Petrobras Announces Tender for Chartering Up to Six PSVs

Petrobras announced today (April 10) the launch of a tender for the chartering of up to six Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs), under a SEP format — a process traditionally marked by limited public disclosure. Even so, WSB Advisors can provide the following details:

The vessels will support hydrocarbon exploration and production activities.

Key Details:

Selection Criteria: Lowest total price, as outlined in Addendum D.

Contracting Structure:

Lot A: Up to 4 General Cargo PSVs (CG)

Lot B: Up to 2 Multipurpose (MUF) or Fluid PSVs (FLU)

Contracts will follow the lot priority order specified in the below table.

Estimated Start of Operations: January 2026 or 180 days after contract signing, whichever occurs later.

Proposal Submission Deadline: May 6, 2025

Contract Duration: 1,460 days (4 years)
