
Petrobras with new comand

The federal government announced a significant change last May 14: Prates has resigned and Magda Chambriard will succeed him as the head of the Brazilian state oil company Petrobras.
Chambriard, who previously served as the director general of Brazil’s oil and natural gas regulatory agency, ANP, from 2008 to 2016, is notably the only woman to have held that position. The company disclosed that Prates had requested a meeting on Tuesday night to discuss the early termination of his term.
