Petrobras Relaunches FPSO P-88 Tender for Albacora Field

Petrobras has issued a new tender for the FPSO P-88, aiming to revitalize the Albacora Field in the Santos Basin. After canceling the previous process a year ago, the oil company is now relaunching the opportunity under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, with the vessel transfer date to be defined in the contract.

The FPSO is expected to begin operations in 2030, reaching a maximum production capacity of 120,000 barrels of oil per day. Proposals must be submitted by October 1, with a significantly higher number of interested parties anticipated this time.
