Petrobras on the move for newbuildings

Signs of newbuilding orders on the horizon, Petrobras on the move released suggested design specifications for PSVs and RSVs for their potentially upcoming newbuild tender. It’s getting closer. PSVs of 5,000t dwt, 1,000m2 deck area and multipurpose tank configuration (dedicated cargo is history) are desired, whereas RSVs are set for up to 3,000m water depth, 2 work class ROVs, subsea crane 80-150 tonnes SWL and 60-70 POB.Energy efficiency is paramount with diesel-ethanol dual on their radar.
