new oil signs

Petrobras reported that it found new oil signs in well 3-BRSA-1388DA-SPS at the Sagitário Prospect, in block S-M623, Santos Basin. The discovery is at 1,866 meters depth. The block was acquired by Petrobras in 2005 during the 7th round of ANP bidding. It is explored in partnership with Shell and Repsol Sinopec, each one with a 20% stake. The first reports of oil discoveries at this block were in 2013 but in the pioneer well 1-BRSA-1063-SPS. In 2020, Petrobras announced the discovery of one extension well for the block, the 3-BRSA–1370-SPS.
