NBCC: strengthening Brazil-Norway business relations
September brought an active agenda for business relations between Brazil and Norway, with the Norwegian Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) involved in a series of initiatives focused on trade, investment, energy and bilateral cooperation.
One of the highlights was the NBCC Board Business Delegation to Brasília, held in partnership with the Royal Norwegian Embassy. The delegation met with Brazilian ministries and institutions to discuss trade, investment, the energy transition and the EFTA-Mercosur Agreement.
In Rio de Janeiro, the agenda continued with the Capital Markets Morning at Copacabana Palace, focused on opportunities for Brazilian companies to access European and Nordic capital markets.
During ROG.e week, NBCC celebrated the 10th edition of Energy Connections, bringing together executives, investors, authorities and industry representatives and reinforcing the dialogue between the Brazilian and Norwegian energy communities.
The Norwegian presence at ROG.e was another important part of the month, with the Norwegian Pavilion bringing together 24 companies, two NGOs and more than 180 delegates.
The agenda also included Girls Take Over, connecting young women from Rio de Janeiro’s public school system with the corporate environment, and concluded with the celebration of Equinor’s 25 years in Brazil.

WSB Advisors was pleased to take part in this broader Brazil-Norway dialogue. Paulo Rolim, Advisory Services Lead, joined the NBCC delegation to Brasília alongside representatives from Norwegian companies and Brazilian institutions.
Initiatives like these help strengthen the relationships, exchange and business connections that continue to bring the two markets closer together.
