Equinor has submitted to ANP the Declarations of Commerciality and Plans for Development for two fields in Campos Basin in partnership with Repsol Sinopec and Petrobras in the consortium. The suggested names for the fields are Raia Manta and Raia Pintada and they are significant natural gas fields that will play a key role in the ongoing advancement of the Brazilian gas market.The development and operation in of the fields will generate more than 50.000 jobs during its full life cycle and the total investment is approximately USD 9 billion. This Project will be the first in Brazil to treat gas offshore and be connected to the national grid without onshore processing. There will be a FPSO capable of processing gas and oil/condensate that will have a production capacity of 16 million cubic meters of gas per day.
