Brazil’s pre-salt sets new production record

 In September 2025, Brazil’s pre-salt layer reached 4.143 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), up 2.7% from August and 12.5% compared to September 2024. The pre-salt segment accounted for 81.1% of national production, with 169 active wells.
