
Brazil’s oil and gas production reaches 5.842 million boe/d in June

Brazil’s oil and natural gas production reached 5.842 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in June 2026, according to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
Production increased 4.1% compared with May and 19.1% year-on-year. The pre-salt accounted for 82% of total output, with 4.788 million boe/d. Búzios remained Brazil’s largest oil-producing offshore field, while Mero was the country’s largest natural gas-producing field. Petrobras, individually and through partnerships, accounted for 87.08% of national production during the period.
