Yinson has been ranked first in Petrobras’ tender for the new FPSO for the Albacora revitalization project in Brazil’s Campos Basin.

Petrobras opened the proposals on August 10 and applied the evaluation criteria established in the tender, resulting in the following ranking by global evaluated price:

Yinson: US$2.298 billion
COOEC: US$2.842 billion
Shapoorji: US$2.900 billion
MISC: US$3.057 billion
BW Offshore: US$3.192 billion

Yinson’s evaluated price is approximately US$545 million below COOEC, the second-ranked bidder.

The tender covers the supply of an FPSO, together with pre-operation, operation and maintenance services, under a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) model for the Albacora revitalization project.

Petrobras will now verify the effectiveness of Yinson’s proposal and its full compliance with the tender requirements and respective addenda.

The contract has not yet been awarded.
