- P-82 sails for Brazil as Petrobras advances Búzios expansion
P-82 left Seatrium’s Tuas Boulevard Yard in Singapore on October 18, bound for the Búzios field in Brazil’s Santos Basin. It is the second Petrobras-owned FPSO of the new high-capacity series to depart for the field in less than a month, following P-80 on September 30.
Designated Búzios 10, the unit is expected to start production in 2027, with nominal capacity for 225,000 barrels of oil per day and gas compression capacity of 12 million cubic metres per day.
Part of its process modules was manufactured at Seatrium Aracruz, in Espírito Santo. Other modules were built in Singapore and China, with final integration in Singapore.
P-82 forms part of the expansion programme through which Petrobras expects Búzios to reach 11 operating platforms by the end of 2027.
- P-35 transfer to Inhaúma rescheduled for November 2–4
The planned transfer of Petrobras’ P-35 from the Arsenal da Marinha to the CLIP terminal at Inhaúma Shipyard has been moved from the October 19–21 window covered in our previous update to November 2–4.
The updated movement window was published through DECEA’s AISWEB system.
The former Marlim FPSO is scheduled to undergo services at the Rio de Janeiro facility, operated by CLIP Offshore. The contracted scope includes berthing, sun coral removal, tank cleaning and inspection, class maintenance, and waste removal and management.
Preparatory interventions involving the flare and turret structures have been carried out to allow passage beneath the Rio–Niterói Bridge.
