• BAKER HUGHES LEADS PETROBRAS TENDER FOR UP TO 518.3 KM OF FLEXIBLE LINES

Baker Hughes submitted the lowest bids in both lots of a Petrobras tender for the supply of up to 518.3 kilometers of flexible risers and flowlines.

The company offered R$3.1 billion for Lot 1, covering up to 276.8 km, and R$3.2 billion for Lot 2, covering up to 241.5 km. TechnipFMC and NOV Flexibles also submitted proposals, with higher bids in both lots.

The scope covers flexible lines for production, gas lift, water and gas injection, service, and oil and gas export, including lines designed to mitigate CO₂ stress corrosion cracking, as well as accessories and associated engineering and logistics services.

The tender now moves into the proposal assessment and effectiveness verification stages, followed by negotiation if the requirements established by Petrobras are met.

• BRAVA PRODUCES 81,600 BOE/D IN AUGUST AS PAPA-TERRA SHUTDOWN IMPACTS OUTPUT

Brava Energia reported preliminary and unaudited production of 81,600 boe/d in August, down 1.1% from July.

The sequential decline mainly reflected the planned shutdown at Papa-Terra, completed on August 7. According to the company, production at the asset has since returned to normalized levels.

Atlanta remained Brava’s largest oil-producing asset, averaging 24,366 barrels per day and accounting for approximately 39% of the company’s oil production.

In natural gas, Peroá, Manati and Pescada together produced 8,976 boe/d, representing nearly half of Brava’s gas output during the month.

• OIL STATES SECURES THREE-YEAR PETROBRAS SUBSEA SERVICES CONTRACT

Oil States Brasil has secured a three-year contract with Petrobras for specialized maintenance and technical assistance services covering subsea equipment.

The agreement supports Petrobras’ subsea operations and E&P consortia in which the company participates, covering inspection and testing, preventive and corrective maintenance, installation and intervention, operational planning, integrity analysis, engineering, parts supply and specialized tooling.

The scope includes MCVs, MCAs, subsea valves, ILTs, PLETs, PLEMs, RHAS equipment and Oil States torque tools, combining offshore execution with remote and onshore support.

Oil States says it has completed 65 subsea operations of this type since 2020, including 19 in 2026 alone.
