Starting this month, Diogenes the Cynic officially joins One Energy News publications as a permanent columnist.

Diogenes is not from Rio.

But during Rio Oil & Gas week, he will be walking around Rio de Janeiro — naturally accompanied by his inseparable lamp.

For those who have not met him yet, Diogenes has a rather peculiar habit: he walks the streets carrying his lamp, looking for an honest man.

We do not know whether Rio will make his search any easier.

Nor do we know exactly where he intends to start.

What we do know is that Diogenes will be among us, watching the city, meeting people, listening to stories, following the market and gathering material for his debut.

By the end of the week, we will find out what caught his attention.
