Ocêanica and Officers reach agreement after negotiations

Oceânica Engenharia reported its latest proposal has been approved by a broad majority of officers and electricians.

The agreement follows months of negotiations between the company and SINDMAR – Sindicato Nacional dos Oficiais da Marinha Mercante . Previous proposals had been rejected, and in July officers and electricians approved strike action after negotiations failed to produce an agreement.

The new proposal includes financial and working conditions improvements. The company will now proceed with the signing of the 2025/2026 and 2026/2028 Collective Bargain Agreements.

The approval closes the latest round of labor negotiations between Oceânica and its officers and electricians.
