Boka Sub C: new project

BOKA SUB C LEAVES BRAZIL FOR NEW FPSO PROJECT IN GUYANA

Boskalis has completed the preparation of its DP3 construction support vessel BOKA Sub C, which is set to begin a new offshore project in Guyana.

The vessel spent the past few years operating in Brazilian waters, carrying out deepwater anchor installation and other offshore activities. More recently, BOKA Sub C supported the installation of the FPSO Bacalhau in the Santos Basin, completing the unit’s mooring after its arrival in Brazil.

Earlier this year, the vessel sailed to Europe and entered drydock in Spain ahead of its next assignment.

The work included an overhaul of its large offshore cranes and thrusters, an upgrade of the DP3 system and the application of Boskalis’ new livery.

BOKA Sub C will now support the hook-up of a new FPSO offshore Guyana.

The vessel is a multipurpose DP3 offshore construction vessel with 220 tonnes of bollard pull.
