One Energy Magazine — Issue 20 is out
The 20th edition of One Energy Magazine features an exclusive interview with engineer Aldo Manoel Pedro Júnior, who played a central role in the implementation of Navship and later received one of the greatest recognitions of his career: a PSV named in his honor — Mr Aldo.
Aldo shares the story behind the creation of the shipyard, the challenges of building vessels while Navship itself was still being established, and his perspective after nearly five decades working in Brazil’s shipbuilding industry.
This edition also examines Seacor Marine and the debate over whether its fleet may be worth more than the company operating it, while Alexandre Vilela takes a closer look at Petrobras’ decision to cancel its long-running AHTS tender and what the process revealed about shipbuilding, financing and fleet renewal in Brazil.
We also revisit the recovery of Mauá Shipyard, the 2026 edition of Navalshore and the new chapter of Edise, Petrobras’ historic headquarters in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
